Please Represent Us Scams

It doesn't matter how they got your name (entering a contest?) You will receive an offer to become a "financial representative" of an overseas company. For some reason they they have problems accepting money from US customers and they need you to handle those payments. You will be paid 5 to 20 percent commission per transaction.

They will ask you for all your personal data, including your bank account information. You will be a victim of:

* identity theft,
* money stolen from your account, or
* may receive fake checks or money orders for payments which you deposit into your account. Their cheques to you will bounce (it may take weeks or even months) only after you have sent them all your money! Your bank will have NO sympathy and you will owe them money.
